Pam at Jewel Lake Gliceé Print
A colleague sits on the ground, painting en plein air as the grasses sway in the breeze. Jewel Lake is known for its turtles and we had hoped to see them and perhaps include them in a painting. Since we did not see any that day, I found that someone engaged in painting made for a better composition and a more interesting subject. I returned ten years later to find that the little lake evaporated during the pandemic. Only a small patch of cattail remained in the middle. The original painting is an oil on masonite measuring 16 x 20.” Frame not Included.
