Una Calle Desierta en San Juan

I always take a lot of photos during my visits to Old San Juan. The colonial city always gets my attention because it is a survivor of many attempts to strip it of its character. Take these cobblestones, for example. They were removed from one of its most transited streets. So even they are in danger. This 2021 acrylic on canvas measures 18 x 24" and unlike most of my landscapes, was not made en plein air.
